Such a BEAST! Man I love C6 RS6. I wish they were offered in the US market. Certainly the ONLY sport/super sedan I would have chosen over the M5 when I bought mine a few years ago...
The lambo fell apart :facepalm
How does a 820hp car run mid 13s?
That Lambo was impressive. The Porsche run was a good one though. Seemed like the merc left the TC on or something.
I saw 177mph. I'm pretty sure that RS6 is just bolt on's and a tune too
The C6 RS6. Every time one is seen in action it is a reminder to Americans what a kick in the balls we received from Audi when they decided not to bring this generation RS6 over. Maybe one day we'll get over it but that turbocharged V10 mated to all wheel drive is hard to forget about. Take the Gorilla Racing tuned version you will watch in action below. A very stout car for a claimed 720 horsepower likely with bolt on modifications.
The RS6 runs a CLS63 AMG in the first run making relatively easy work of it trapping 117.8 in the 1/4 mile. Not too fast of a trap speed which is kind of odd as in the second race the trap speed rises to 124.24 miles per hour when the RS6 runs the 1800 horsepower Gallardo. It really makes you scratch your head as to the accuracy of the timing equipment being used here in Russia and it definitely does not correlate with a typical drag strip. Regardless, the RS6 beats the Gallardo but only because the Gallardo seemed to be quite a handful and basically fell apart during its run.
The final run is against a 997.1 Turbo with bolt ons said to have 620 horsepower. This is the best and closest run of the three. The RS6 gets a lead out of hole and holds a slight advantage through the mile. This time the RS6 has a 1/4 mile trap speed of 122.771 to the 911 Turbos 124.89. The 911 Turbo loses the race due to a slower reaction time but has the quicker elapsed time and faster trap speed.
The video shows that a bolt on C6 RS6 is about a 124 mile per hour car in the 1/4 mile and that makes it pretty potent from a stop with all wheel drive. Definitely respectable, video below.
spinning ain't winning!
Ya'll spoke to soon with that bolt on RS6 that's been running at 500 for years now.
Here's the real RS6
130.8 in the 1/4
193 in the mile
