Shift S3ctor Airstrip Attack Photos

Despite our best efforts to get our shop car running properly in time for the event we decided not to run the car at all this past weekend. The #2 cylinder is leaking down over 25% and we will be putting another stock motor in shortly to continue development so we just cruised down to Coalinga to spectate.

Timing was not on my side as usual.

I did not want the car there but Gintani asked me if they finished the clutch break in if they could run it. They work hard on the car and want to show what they are capable of so I wished them luck.

Vargas said he saw the car driving around the pits and that is correct. They were trying to bed the clutches and get the computers to cooperate with the new clutch baskets. After some time on the back roads they finally got everything straightened just after the event ended.

We'll just have to see how the car runs on high boost at a different event and I honestly prefer it that way.

I don't know who you heard that from as it's incorrect and as I stated it didn't run at the event.

Maybe you should check with Gintani, because you are getting wrong info...... Your car trapped 152.... Kenton's did 182+ ..... I would post the video of your car running his but the stupid rep points on this forum wouldn't let me.

If you think my car is trapping 20+ mph slower than what it previously trapped when it won the event you have a mental problem. It wasn't running correctly until they got everything sorted and by that time the event was over.

If your whole purpose here is to stir up drama go elsewhere.

You guys, sorry but no way did Sticky's car only run 152mph, must be a case of mistaken identity. As much as I would love to bust his chops I just can't beleive his car went 152 on a clean pass. He went faster than that in the spring.

Seems way to slow considering terry's car ran 160+ Maybe it was a attempt to get the clutches to bed? Or they had a issue and let off

So the car can do 173 and win the event when this car that supposedly smoked me was in attendance when on only 18.5 psi of boost + MS109 on the slipping OEM gearbox but with 24 psi on C16, upgraded suspension for better traction, and new clutches out of stronger material with a deeper clutch basket it runs 20+ mph slower?

That's fine. I'm proud to report that as of this second the car is holding 24 psi without breaking a sweat. I'd love a rematch and we can see just how easily it gets smoked.

I'm on the fence about it. I'd rather just race everyone who thinks it's trapping 152 in the 1/2 mile or putting out 773 to the wheels.

When will you take back possession of the car? I would be dying of excitement knowing its holding 24 psi and not have it. You should atleast go take it for a test drive with a little gopro action :)

Are you even going to be ready to drive it? You haven't driven it in about 3 years correct? I mean you didn't drive it in the last event or had possession of it since the motor and trans was done so I'd imagine it will take some driving around just to get a feel for that much power. People can talk all they want but if it was me I wouldn't be running out and shooting gopro videos without getting used to something like that. You'll have to get the car back, drive it, and ease into it, anyone who thinks you can just go pickup a car with that type of power and just go balls to the wall right away either must think you're an idiot or they themselves are idiots. This is not a 500-600whp 335i, it's not that simple.

Looking forward to the real results of the beast. Like I said before, it really could be a game changer for the platform. The Supra is not a cheap car to mod either but people started doing it after seeing the first results of it done right, it's just what happens. Look what guys spend on Lambo's and GTR's just cause they know what they'll get after the investment. I hope your car shows what an investment in both time and money like you have invested gets you. Should be sweet.

LOL Did I hit a nerve with my gopro comment ? UMADBRO? Honestly I was thinking the same the car is going to feel stupid fast and wild especially since its been 3 years since hes really driven it hard. But knowing he already went 10's previously in a supercharged m3 im sure he has the skill to do some WOT runs on a Mexican highway after an hour with the car. The m3 actually has a great powerband making high HP with relatively low torque so it shouldn't be out of control at all

I was not at the event, the Weistec guys were running my cars, I think my C BS went 172 not 173. CLK broke something unfortunately :(

I didn't say anything about picking it up and going around and racing everything in sight. I just said I have a plan regarding how content will be presented and released.

I appreciate it and I certainly think it will. With the turbos it may even get people doing M3's over many other choices.
