Lamborghini Huracan 580-2 vs. Porsche 991.2 Turbo S roll race
This is a good race to see as both of these cars have been involved in various races published over the past few weeks. The 991.2 Turbo S destroyed a 991 GT3 RS which is no surprise. The Huracan beat up on that same 991 GT3 RS as well so what happens when the Turbo and Huracan go head to head?
Keep in mind this is the rear wheel drive version of the Huracan. That means it is lighter than its all wheel drive sibling and also that it undercuts the 911 Turbo by roughly 150 pounds.
However, this is the facelifted version of the 911 Turbo S which means it has upgraded turbochargers and 580 horsepower. The 991.2 seems to be quite a bit stronger than the 991.
The Turbo S gets a better start and opens a lead. It holds the lead but as speeds rise the Huracan inches closer. The 911 Turbo S is ahead by the time it gets off the gas.
What we learn is the two cars are remarkably close but the all wheel drive Huracan from a roll with its extra weight would likely be even slower meaning the 991.2 Turbo S likely has the edge.
