BMW starts off the 2013 DTM season well with a 1-2 Victory at Hockenheim

The defending champs appear to already be in stride this season. Last year marked BMW's return to DTM racing and it was a spectacular season with BMW capturing the championship in the final race with a classic come from behind victory. No excuses regarding inexperience, rust, or not having a full field of cars this year and excuses are not needed. Agusto Farfas took the victory for BMW followed by Dirk Werner for BMW Team Schnitzer.

BMW has 61 points and is up fairly large on second place Mercedes-Benz with 28 and last place Audi with 12. Anything can happen as we saw last season but this is a good start. The next race is 10 days in Britain at Brands Hatch.

Again, with new racing success, why not stop diluting the M line??
