    AFR ration gauge plus sensor for racegas

    I tried AEM and it died after few minutes while using racegas

    You can't use oxygen sensors with leaded gas. It ruins them.
    Eppur si muove.

    Lets start off with the facts. I made an assumption about the race gas containing lead, but if we are going to troubleshoot the problem, we need to make no assumptions.

    1. Which specific oxygen sensor and gauge did you buy? All AEM kits appear to use the Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor which is a quality sensor.

    2. Were you using leaded race gas? You may have to call up where you got it to find out.

    3. Where was the sensor placed in the exhaust stream? (A picture would be great)

    sometimes if the sensor is placed wrong it can die due to water but its most likely lead

    NGK AFX with an NTK sensor works well with leaded gas and tuning over a bosch lsu sensor.

    For under 1000 its the only wideband i currently recommend to use.
