I like chris harris. The i8 is kinda cool. 130 mpg is awesome.

I was doubting this car at first but for him to compare it to a 911 is promising. It seems bmw is using the fake exhaust sound in this car too...

I get mixed feelings. On the one hand, it does make 362 hp. On the other hand, you have to think that it comes from a 3 cylinder inline 4 with two electric motors somewhere in there. A huge WTF?? I think this will take some getting used to, I mean, I'm open minded but this $#@! is kinda strange.

It is strange, I think it'd help if they made it a much higher revving engine. What is redline on this anyway? Give it a 10krpm redline and a catless exhaust and I bet it'd actually sound pretty damn nice.
Having said that, I've honestly had a bad taste in my mouth about this car ever since I heard about the confirmed powertrain it would be using. I've loved the styling, and I mean, absolutely love it, I'd put the exterior AND interior styling with LITERALLY any other car on the market. This is the first time I've seen this car in action and for Chris Harris to enjoy the ride, then I'm sure it is quite enjoyable.
I'd actually love to ride in one. I mean, it would seem to be one sports car that wouldn't cost much to own...and what? $135k? Well, I can tell you I'd buy this over a Tesla.2013 Audi S6 stock but shopping....

I'm interested to see how reliable this car is. It seems like it has an awful lot of tech in it. The last time bmw went crazy with new tec it wasn't re most reliable (e65 7 series)

The problem I see with this car is it's not a real great performer. What are you getting for $135k? A cool looking/techy car that gets good mpg...but it's not real fast. It doesn't leave you in awe like the other hybrid sports cars he mentioned. IMO BMW should have just made this a m car, give it wider fenders, wheels, big brakes and a larger/more powerful gasoline engine. Make it a high 3 second car...it has the looks for it
