9 second 140+ mile per hour 7-speed manual C7 Z06 versus a Lamborghini Huracan from a stop and a roll

Very cool race here between a Lamborghini Huracan that is stock except for an exhaust system and a modified C7 Corvette Z06. The Z06 is the same car we saw go 9.891 @ 141.64 in the 1/4 mile on E85. The Z06 also is a 7-speed manual car meaning driver skill plays a significant part.

The first run is from a roll. The Huracan is given the hit and takes a lead. The dual clutch transmission helps hold off the Z06 on the first couple gear shifts. Once they get into higher speeds though the power difference shows and the Z06 just pulls away. It's clearly the more powerful car here.

What is nice to see is that they also go from a stop. The advantage is squarely in the Huracan's court as it has all wheel drive. That is likely why the Z06 gets the hit off the line. It takes off but you soon see its tires go up in smoke. The Huracan quickly passes by it opening a lead thanks to its traction advantage and dual clutch transmission.

Unfortunately we only get one camera angle but it is easy to tell the Huracan is ahead of the Z06 and holding it off. It takes an eternity for the Z06 to catch up which it eventually does. In a street matchup from a stop the Huracan has the advantage unless a Z06 is wearing drag rubber in anticipation of such an encounter.
