My Renntech Tuned E63 S vs Lots of Other Cars in Roll Races at Pocono International Speedway!!!!!
On Sunday, January 20th, my E63 S with Renntech full tune and Renntech sport mufflers (stock cats and stock downpipes and stock turbos) competed in roll races at Race Warz 2 at Pocono International Speedway. All of the roll races in the videos below had a 60 mph start.
Overall, I was happy with the results. It was faster than tune only cars but not as fast as cars with catless downpipes or water meth injection.
The wins:
1. Dodge Charger Hellcat. Lost badly to my car (4 car lengths):
2. E63 S AMG sedan with catless downpipes and custom tune (2 car lengths):
3. AMG GTS (stock) (1-2 car lengths):
4. Dodge Viper (1 car length) -- 2 wins:
5. Cadillac CTS V (modded) (4 car lengths);
6. E39 M5 (6 car lengths):
7. 911 Carrera S (many car lengths after giving it a head start):
8. and 9. Other wins not videoed: 997 Turbo S (from a roll) and Lexus RC F (from a dig)
Losses:
1. 800 bhp water-meth injection, catless downpipes, custom tune, aftermarket intake F10 M5 (23 lbs of boost) (fastest F10 M5 in the New York area) (many many car lengths):
2. JB4, heavily modified M6 with 21 pounds of boost (2-3 car lengths):
3. Cobb Stage 2 tuned 991 Turbo S (3 car lengths)
4. SLS with all Renntech mods including tune and straight pipes (3-4 car lengths):
Other losses not videoed:
5. E63 S with Renntech VIP tune and catless downpipes (5-6 car lengths)
6. Modded SL55 (I had mine in manual mode and missed a shift)

Thanks for the clips, your car beat some heavy duty performers...
S63tu's are animals with just a tune , adding exhaust and filters made little difference in traps on mine....

Promoted to front page with intro:
A ton of runs here from BenzBoost member @sdg1871 who took his E63 AMG S (this is a 4Matic all wheel drive model) out to a roll on event at Pocono. He ran just about everything and was not afraid to post the losses along with the wins.
To be perfectly honest the loss videos are better than the win videos. Not because we like seeing our members lose races but because of the camera angle. In the win videos you do not see the opponent so it is difficult to gauge the outcome based on anything other than commentary. The loss videos are very easy to see.
We hope @sdg1871 gets an additional angle for future runs (plus higher quality video would not hurt) but you get a good idea here of what a Renntech tuned E63 AMG S M157 is capable of. It is certainly impressive considering the stock cats and downpipes are still in place and the only exhaust modification is a Renntech muffler.
Regarding the opponents the F10 M5 on methanol is ridiculous. It's so fast we do not even know what to say.
The Renntech SLS impresses as well considering it is not boosted. Great stuff here and the only thing that would make it better is multiple angles. Go get some GoPros @sdg1871!

btw that is my M6 in the video, both e63's at this event ran hard!! That m5 was by far the most impressive car at the event. Obviously there were all the 1500+whp gtr's and lambos but for any kind of normal power this m5 was by far the most impressive. My car was in the 680ish whp area in that video, based on that the m5 was probably north of 740 or so. I spoke to the owner he had msr intakes, exhaust, meth, jb4 to log and control meth, then he actually tuned it him self. I have his card with the name of his shop somewhere.

No i gotta get a new go pro. Im searching for vids though, many people were filming so hope I eventually find some. My most notable win was probably the fbo gtr, he was making about 620whp and I put 2-3 cars on him. I wanted to run a gtr bad but was afraid to run one with mods lol, i would crush a stock example. Beat up on that same hellcat pretty bad too. 'Im trying to find a stock c7 zo6 to run, i think i can def pull a manual and would be good run with an auto. At full power I was +5 on my bms with intakes, exhaust, and vp100 fuel. Car was seeing 23psi

Message received Sticky on Gro Pros. I brought my 2 out to the Driving Force Club's 1/4 runway event yesterday and put them on my 991 Turbo with the Champion intercoolers and GIAC Stage 2 as it took on all comers:
