    The WRX barely made the list and they sell for 93.8% of new after 1 year. The 3 Series took a beating, topped the list and lost 18% of new on resale after one year.

    The reason WRX owners get rid of the car after a year is probably a few things. 1) it attracts young boy racers who want a new car but end up not being able to afford the payment/insurance/gas 2) people who can afford it end up wanting the STI and trade up.
    The resale is rediculously high though so its not much of a hit to trade them out.

    Not sure why the BMW (and C series benz) turnover is so high after first year. Maybe kind of the first point above where people NEED a base luxury car but realize they can't afford the payment.
