Lamborghini Aventador vs. tuned BMW F13 M6 rolling race

This HCP tuned BMW F13 M6 is being featured in several race videos as of late. We saw it recently just demolish a new Cadillac CTS-V LT4 while a tuned McLaren MP4-12C rather easily pulled it. Now the F13 M6 tries its luck against a Lamborghini Aventador roadster.

The naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 is certainly powerful with 700 horses and high revving for a motor of the size with an 8250 rpm redline. The S63TU 4.4 liter V8 under the hood of the M6 makes far more torque courtesy of a pair of turbochargers. The Aventador is the lighter car though by roughly 300 pounds.

How does this race go? It is fairly even. The Aventador is about a ~132 mile per hour car in the 1/4 mile so it is certainly fast. The M6 is right there with it until it lets off.

For once the BMW M car from this source isn't shown just destroying its opponent.
