Why Supras are known as highway cars - GEP built motor MKIV Supra vs. bolt on tuned CLS63 M157 100-300 kph race

Here is a perfect illustration as to why the MKIV Supra has its reputation as a highway monster. The wheel horsepower on this Supra is not stated but it is clearly making plenty of power as illustrated by the 100-300 kph (62-186 mph) run.

It takes the Supra some time to spool which allows the M157 to open a lead only for the Supra to quickly go to light speed as it passes by.

Very impressive especially with three people in the car against what is a very strong AMG.

It was a 62 mph roll but it looked like it started to pull at 160 kph.
