Bolt on E85 tuned 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 vs. two 800+ hp BMW F10 M5's
Now, there is no way of knowing if the two F10 M5's in the video are truly 800+ horsepower examples. Considering they are going up against a bolt on and E85 tuned GT500 on video we know they are not stock and tuned to a degree.
One M5 is bolt on tuned and the other has upgraded turbochargers. All vehicle have boosted V8's and all have dual clutch transmissions sending power to the rear wheels.
The GT500 is the camera car with a passenger. They do a 2nd gear roll around 40 mph and the GT500 makes easy work of the M5's once it gains traction (which will be its main problem as it adds power).
Seeing as GT500's are into the 9XX whp range on the factory motor and weigh about the same as the F10 M5 it will take built motor S63TU's with upgraded rods at the very least and upgraded turbos to play with them.
The GT500 is on another level and this is just the beginning for the platform.
