What would you rather have? F430 or R8 V10 5.2?
Just a random question, what would you rather have and why?

Gotta agree with @lulz_m3. R8 is a nice ride, but it's not a Ferrari.

mp4-12c, but it would be a hard decision. There's a lot to love about a 458...

I would go with a R8 V10 if it would be driven all the time. However if it would be a weekend toy the F430. Now if you added the MP4-12c I would pick that no question. Not even close.

For some reason, I keep gong with the R8. I know it's not a Ferrari but it's new. the f430 is pretty dated, its like 8-10 years old now.. I think the R8 looks much better than the f430 as well, but that's just me. Two of my buddies had red f430's said it was a POS with so many problems. @Sticky Gintani tuned one of those f430's actually.

MP4-12c is the best car I have driven.... I only need to con the boss lady into letting me spend the 1/4+ of an M bar and we are set... Ferraris out here are more common than Corvettes with the over 55 crowd but sadly they drive them around like Nancy boy twats

I was in the HOV lane on the Long Island Car Park yesterday........ I mean the Long Island Expressway (LIE) in my snail 540i... ahead was a 458 Ferrari doing 54 (everyone else doing 75)..... and in the fast lane when I switched was a Weistec CLS 63 AMG (roughly 700-800 ponies) doing 50 mph................
when I got clear I was doing 85 and a 335is passed me like I was standing still (and the driver was a hottie)
The regular crowd in Southampton drive 458's, AMG's, Aston's like they are grannie 1960s VW Beetles... really peeves me... the Drongo across the road has an MP4 and he has done 189 miles in it... I ddi 55 of them... he drives it from one driveway on one corner to his garage on his other corner... his 1972 E type has 4500 miles on it...which equates to the effing 4500 times he has driven it the 1/2 mile into Quogue town and back
My late Dad had the right idea..... thrash the living BeJesus out of everything you drive because you can always get something else tomorrow... sadly I am the poor folk around these partsDriving fresh air now

The 1st question is are you modding the car? If the answer is No, then the Ferrari easily wins. If Yes, there are a lot more high-priced exotics hat are better options -- Lambos, McLarens, etc etc

F430. R8 is just meh in my book. Sucks on the track, not very exciting to drive. I've never driven the f430, I'm sure it's better than the r8 tho.
